Call scripts

Write campaign scripts with merge fields such as {first_name} and {business}.

Each campaign can have a script that appears on the lead card during the call. Write it in plain text; line breaks are kept.

The opening line

Every script starts with an opening line NitroDialer writes for you:

It uses the lead's first name, the agent's first name and your workspace's business name. Telemarketing rules in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia expect callers to say who they are, who they're calling for and why at the start of the call, so the opening line is always shown — your script continues from it with the reason for the call.

Set the business name in Settings → Workspace.

Merge fields

Use these anywhere in the script:

FieldReplaced with
{first_name}Lead's first name
{last_name}Lead's last name
{company}Lead's company
{city}Lead's city
{agent}The agent's first name
{business}Your workspace's business name

A field with no value for this lead is left blank. Unknown fields are left as typed, so typos are easy to spot.

Example

I'm following up on the heat pump rebate form you filled in on Facebook.

1. Confirm they own the home in {city} and how it's heated today.
2. Ask how old the furnace or air conditioner is.
3. Explain the rebate in one sentence.
4. Offer a free in-home assessment: "I have Thursday at 10 or Friday at 4 — which works better?"
